We booked this place for a concert at Progresja club, just a few hundred meters away. The location worked really well, with the club nearby and a supermarket with several shops across the road. The hotel was full when we arrived, but I only heard other guests once in the hallway. The walls are thick and block noise well. The room and shower were very clean. The furniture might have been top notch when it was new 20 or 30 years ago, but now it's scratched, worn, and looks shabby. We could only communicate with reception in Polish, and we know just a few words, though luckily that was enough. Bring Google Translate if you need to ask for something. It was an okay stay and the room felt a bit steep for the price, but the location makes it a very good option.

The room was quite clean, and the rest of the staff were helpful and polite, so I’ve given two stars. But when we got in late on our first night, it was really cold and we couldn’t find any control for the air conditioning. The woman at reception said we’d have to wait until morning to get one.

The room itself was bright and roomy, with a fridge, and the hotel is beside a shopping centre with a cheap supermarket. It’s on the edge of town, but there’s direct public transport to the centre, so it worked for a one-night stay. The man on duty carried our two heavy bags, weighing 23 and 24 kg, up to the third floor and wouldn’t take a tip. I joked that pani had packed “life” in them. Getting the bags back downstairs was another story. No man was on shift, and the Ukrainian administrator wouldn’t even help find someone. Her “it’s not my problem” response was especially disappointing because I’m Ukrainian too. In the end, I asked a man waiting on the street, who turned out to be my countryman and was happy to help. The administrator gave us a crooked look. I’d wanted to leave a very nice review before this, but pani V. K. spoiled the impression. I even promised her a colourful review quoting that phrase. People working in service should think about what they say. The rest of the stay was fine, though the excuse about the fridge being “not my problem” also left a bad impression.

The rooms were clean, the staff were very polite, and the location was nice. There’s also air conditioning and a kettle with tea in the rooms. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone. Good job, guys.
