Designers Apartment In The Old Town

The bathroom was very warm and clean, and the kitchen, furnishings, and smoke detector were all positives. We rented the apartment for three days, and the location was great, right by the Old Town with good connections. We knew it was in a tenement building without an elevator, so that was our choice. But the apartment itself had cobwebs in every corner and above the windows. The bedroom bed was said to be comfortable, yet felt so flimsy we worried it might break. The living room sofa was in terrible shape, sagging so badly that floorboards showed through. We had no choice but to sleep on it, and it felt like lying on a hard floor. It was also cold when we arrived because the heating was off, and Warsaw was below zero at the time. Once we turned on the radiators, the bedroom one started leaking, and the floor was already visibly damaged there. The windows let in a lot of cold air. The living room sofa really needs replacing, especially since some guests may not treat the place carefully.
