It was easy to find places to eat, with lots of restaurants within a two-minute walk and a market and coffee shop right downstairs. The flat was spacious, well furnished, and had plenty of towels and bedding. There was a washing machine and some detergent too. No lift, though, and there are a lot of flights of stairs. It seemed as if the flat might have been empty for a while, since it was dusty in spots and the drains smelled a bit. I also wish there'd been more information inside about local attractions, activities, and transport. The address wasn't clear: we first went to the wrong place, then spotted the correct one in the app, fortunately just a few minutes away.

The value for money was outstanding, and the apartment itself was clean and well equipped. Its setting on the corner of the old town Market Square in the historic center is stunning, which may have shaped my overall rating. The old building has no lift, but the area was quiet. We had frequent power cuts due to an issue with the electrical box. Staff came straight away to fix it, and left a complimentary bottle of white wine and two glasses on the bed, more than an acceptable apology. There's no fixed air conditioning, just a portable unit that's noisy but effective. I imagine architectural restrictions make installing an external unit difficult here, which is understandable.

The location was just a few steps from the Old Town, and the apartment stayed very warm, which was a big plus for us. Some furniture looked tired, a few sockets weren't in great shape, and there was dust and a couple of large cobwebs. The towels and shower curtain in the bathroom really needed replacing. We got the basic apartment, and I'd call it shabby chic. Even with those drawbacks, the stay was pleasant. Edit after the reply: I've emailed you about the reservation name.

I stayed at the 'design apartment' at Rynek Starego Miasta 26, warsaw. The building reeked from the restaurant downstairs, and the smell made me sick whenever I went inside. It also drifted into the room if I opened the window, and it was truly unbearable. There isn't a 'river view' either. The location was the only saving grace. Without that, I'd have asked for my money back. I'd advise staying away.

The apartment looked newly renovated, and the window view is shown in the pictures. Restaurants, small shops, and museums are all around. It's a very central place to stay in Warsaw.
