Hosapartments City Center

Our stay was awful, starting with the check in. The buildings are in a terrible neighborhood, and people were partying and breaking glass in the alley late at night. The apartment was dusty, with damage to the walls, and had no air conditioning in our apartment type. Be very careful about which type you book. Our queen size bed was uncomfortable, not king size, and the sofa bed was horrible. My kids couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. Maybe the good reviews were for a different type of apartment, but our experience was awful.

The tower block itself wasn’t the standard you’d expect for a holiday let, though things were better once inside the apartment. We loved how easy it was to walk to most city centre spots, with a metro station right outside. The staff were friendly and helpful at check in.

The location is very nice, near metro stations and within walking distance of lots of places. The room was clean, though the hallway was a different story and didn’t matter much to me. What did matter was the noise from other residents. There was a lot of banging on the walls at 2am, and I could still feel it through the bed even with headphones, which only helped a little. It’s cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for, but I’d love to sleep through a whole night without being woken several times by noisy neighbours. If I return to the city, I’d choose a hotel with only hotel guests and no one living next door, purely because of the noise.

The apartment is in very good shape and has a dishwasher, AC, coffee, free water, wifi, and roomservice. It’s really close to the Palace of culture and science, so the location is great. The halls and public parts of the building are very worn down, though. Would recommend.
