The good parts were the friendly, helpful staff and the location near the tram. There’s a kitchen with a fridge, dishes, cups, and a microwave, and the elevator is handy since the hostel is on the fifth floor. But the shared facilities were a hassle. There was just one toilet for all girls, one sink, and two showers, and the toilet smelled strongly of urine. I arrived late, around 11 pm, and had to wait in a short queue. In the morning I woke at 4:50, so there was no line, but still no shower gel. I had to rent a towel for 5 zloty. The room key card was so small that I worried about losing it or forgetting it somewhere. A bracelet or a card with a cord would be much more convenient, especially if you don't have a pocket. There was a window facing the corridor, so light came into the room all the time. Without my sleep mask, sleeping would have been impossible. There also wasn't a locker in the room that locked with a key.

There are several bathrooms and toilets, separated into female and all-gender facilities, and the rooms are quite decent. The bins in the rooms are emptied every day. Eurospar and a couple of restaurants are very close. I can't really complain, as long as you're not expecting a five-star hotel with breakfast included.

I liked the natural light coming through the full-wall windows and the balcony. The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and normal. The service was very kind :). There were large trunks under the bed for clothes and luggage.

The staff were really kind, and the location is excellent. It’s an inexpensive, pleasant hostel, so it works well if you’re watching your budget. The building is old and getting in can be a bit complicated. I wasn’t keen on the small bathrooms or having no privacy in the shower. Wi-Fi was weak in the rooms, so I had to use mobile data. I’d still recommend it for a low-cost stay.
