The kitchen was disappointing, just a two-burner electric stove, which isn’t enough for 15 guests, and there’s no oven. In the rooms, there weren’t any beds, pillows, or blankets either. The beds were only 60 cm wide and made of foam, more like hospital couches. My 19-21 inch plasma TV didn’t work, and neither did the others. Still, the owner had assured me at check-in that there was a TV. I’d give it 3 out of 5.
This was a really bad hostel, with no pillows or blankets, and that was only the beginning. Ms. Ella was completely unreasonable. I paid 600 zlotys plus a 300-zloty deposit when I checked in, but three days later I had to leave on a business trip to Poznan. When I asked her to recalculate the cost, she flatly refused, saying it was her business and she had already paid for everything. She returned only the deposit. 😢 Think carefully about whether the hassle and expense are worth it.
It’s clean and tidy, with Wi-Fi that works well throughout the building. There’s a kitchen and washing machine, and it’s a good option for a longer stay in the capital. The city center and airport are nearby, with bus and SKM train connections into the center.
