Metropol Hotel

Liked the water dispenser, and the place was clean. But the room was loud, and the shades let in so much light that it was bright really early. The AC also shut itself off, which left the room getting pretty warm.

The location worked really well for us, with a public transport stop nearby that made getting around easy. My girlfriend and I both came away with a good impression. The room felt cozy and welcoming, and it was clean. We could see a busy road from the window, but the earplugs left in the room were a thoughtful touch. It was around –10 °C outside, and the heating didn't quite keep the room warm enough. Still, we had a pleasant stay and would happily recommend this well-located place.

There was some noise at night, but I had no trouble falling asleep. Earbuds were available for anyone who struggles with it. I also liked the corridor water dispenser, since it cuts down on plastic. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. It's a nice hotel in a great spot. The window couldn't open all the way because of a safety restriction, and a small fridge would have been useful.

Breakfast had a decent range, something for everyone, and the staff kept the tables clean and worked hard. The hotel staff were lovely and our room was very clean. Street noise was moderate, with earplugs by the bed if you need them. Check the restaurant hours during Christmas, as it may close early. Everything is close by: buses, trams and trains. If we're back in Warsaw, we'd book here again. On 28th Dec, there were market stalls, a small fair and beautiful Christmas lights across from the hotel, nice to stroll through.
