Nobu Hotel Warsaw

I had a really good three-night stay at Nobu in Warsaw. The room was clean, a good size, and the shower was great, with nice toiletries. Breakfasts were excellent, and the team working there were superb. I also thought the fitness center was great. I’ll happily stay again when I’m in Warsaw.

The staff made us feel welcome with personal, attentive service and warm hospitality. Nobu Hotel Warsaw has an elegant modern look, and the food and carefully made cocktails were excellent. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a comfortable, refined feel. The atmosphere mixes contemporary style with warmth, and the hotel is right in the heart of the city. We can’t wait to return.

The spa left a bad impression on us. It’s very small, with a tiny sauna tucked in a corner and only two loungers. When we visited, a drunk couple were asleep there, snoring with their clothes spread around. They’d also left small towels with blood stains. I found it disgusting and left straight away. There was no staff in the spa to report it to, and nobody responded for a long time. We stayed for a weekend as a couple and expected more, especially given the price. The hotel smells beautiful and makes a nice first impression. We found the Nobu experience interesting, and the tasting menu was worth trying. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice. The rooms look pleasant but aren’t otherwise anything special. Service was uneven too. Some staff helped us, while others seemed lost or uninterested at breakfast and dinner. I visit Warsaw often for weekend trips, and I’d choose another hotel next time. I don’t really recommend staying here since there are better options at the same or even lower price. I would still recommend coming for the sushi or tasting menu.

The front desk made a big dent in my experience. Across several interactions, the service felt unfriendly, unprofessional, and sometimes dismissive. Requests met resistance instead of solutions, and the way things were communicated made guests feel uncomfortable. I noticed similar treatment of other guests more than once. There was also confusion about the hotel’s relationship with Hilton. I booked through Hilton as a Diamond member, and Hilton Honors branding is visible at the front desk. But when I brought it up, staff repeatedly said “we are not Hilton” in a dismissive way. That may be technically correct, but it wasn’t a professional response to someone who booked through that channel. I expected clarity and service, and neither came through in those conversations. It felt like a lack of service awareness and a reluctance to take ownership of the guest experience. The gym is old and very limited, with light dumbbells and little for a proper workout beyond cardio. There’s no pool or notable wellness area, which fell short of what I expected from a hotel in this category. There were good parts. I first stayed in the older section, with its classic wooden feel, then asked to move to the newer wing, which is modern, clean, and stylish. They have different styles, but I much preferred the newer wing. Its room felt more comfortable and premium. The hotel itself is beautiful, with typical Nobu design and great rooms, and housekeeping was excellent. A special thank you to the third-floor housekeeping staff. I eat oatmeal every night, and without my asking, they replaced my used bowl and spoon with clean ones. That attention to detail was impressive and much appreciated. The hotel has a lot of potential, but the front desk experience took away from what could otherwise have been a top-tier stay.
