ORSO Rooms & Apartments by StayLab

The room was clean, the location was handy for restaurants and shopping, and staff tried to help. They replied to texts quickly. But the walls are thin, so you can hear everything from the next apartment. If you book an extra room for the kids and expect privacy with your wife, forget it. The main bed is in the living room, and the bedroom door is glass with no curtains. Dogs are allowed, and the people next door had two chihuahuas that barked nonstop whenever they left their room. The first day it went on for 4.5 hours. Reception tried reaching them several times, and the next day the owners were gone until after 11:00 pm, despite more warnings. Reception told us to call the police if it continued. The following day there were two hours of barking, so I spoke to the owners when they came in. It was quiet on the last day. We also heard another dog barking off and on during the week, but it was on a different floor and wasn’t as loud. Why should I have to deal with that? I booked a hotel room, not a kennel.

Modern decor and really good cleaning service. A great place to stay.

I had a good time and would come back. The area is convenient, with parking in front of the building, and the apartments are roomy enough for larger groups. Just be aware that the rooms only have heating, no air conditioning, so they’ll get very hot in summer. I didn’t know that before arriving.

The apartment itself is great, but the center is quite a distance away, around 30-40min by bus. There’s a McDonald's and a grocery store nearby, and the bus stop is a 4-5 min walk. The street noise was a bit much, and it was hot because there’s no proper air conditioner. The standing unit didn’t help much.
