Tatamka Hostel

Zofia from the admin staff was especially kind and patient, helping throughout my stay and sharing useful local tips. She made sure things went smoothly and really made the experience better. Tatamka Hostel is also very well placed between the Old Town and the riverside, so it was easy to explore on foot or by tram. My room and the facilities were clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the common areas had a relaxed, friendly feel where it was easy to meet other travelers. I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Warsaw.

Clean sheets, comfortable beds, and a very clean hostel in a good location. It’s close to the 106 bus, Nowy swiat, rossman, lux market, zabka, Italian restaurants, and Thai food. I’ll stay there again next time.

Handy for a short stay, with Lidl and Old Town nearby and a clean, pleasant interior. In room 14, though, the curtains covered less than half the windows. Streetlights and shop signs kept the room bright all night. The windows faced Tamka street, and at times the traffic was so loud my friend and I couldn’t hear each other.

I booked a private room with its own bathroom for three nights, though shared rooms and bathrooms are available too. The hostel was very clean everywhere, including the common spaces, and smelled fresh. There’s a shared kitchen, dining tables, and a lounge with sofas, all cleaned regularly by staff. That was reassuring during the busy season when lots of people use the facilities. The location is great for sightseeing, though a little noisy at night. In summer, I would have liked a fan in the room because it can get quite hot.
