The rooms are on the small side, but they worked well for us since we spent the day out in Warsaw. The hostel was spotless and well cared for, with a great shower, good amenities, a fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of room for food. Our host was very accommodating, and there was a gorgeous cat around. Buses make it easy to get into the city. Parking can be hard to find because the spaces are mostly for residents and usually full. Keep credit on your phone, since you’ll need to call the host to get into the apartment.

It’s cheap, sure, but the rooms are small and not very nice, and the beds are uncomfortable. Sharing the bathroom is awkward. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids.

The host was great, and the place had a cozy, homey feel, like visiting your grandma or aunt. Everything was clean, with a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. My room had a sofa, table, chair, TV, closet, and fast WiFi, and there was a hairdryer in the bathroom. The furniture isn’t new, but it’s in good shape. I also really liked that smoking isn’t allowed.

The metro station is right behind the neighboring building, and the M2 line goes to Uniwersytet. From the bus stop above the station, bus 160 takes you through the Praga district to the castle. There’s also a park just steps away and two nearby bakeries with lovely pastries. The place has a pleasant, home-like atmosphere, simple and unpretentious, and it’s very cheap. The owner’s mother speaks Russian very well, as she used to teach it. I’d recommend it.
