The location was great, and we were happy with the price, communication, and stay. It worked more like an Airbnb, though. The rooms were tiny, with nowhere suitable for our luggage, so we had to use the window and desk area. During our six days there, we had to ask for fresh towels and for the bins to be emptied, and even then the cleaning wasn’t done properly.

Getting into the building and Apartment 206 was easy, and the spot on Krakowskie Przedmieście made exploring the city simple. The view from the window over the famous main street was fantastic. We stayed at Warsaw Story LoftAir Collection, and the apartment was comfortable and well equipped, with everything feeling quite homey. The kitchen had the cookware and electrical appliances we needed, plus a coffee maker. There was also a dishwasher and washing machine, with two detergent capsules provided for the first washes. The bathroom had good shampoo/body wash and hand soap, and the heated towel rack also warmed the room after a shower. We had a very comfortable and convenient stay, and highly recommend Warsaw Story LoftAir Collection.

The location is hard to beat. The apartment is right on the old town’s main street, and at Christmas we could see the light displays from the doorway. Coffee, drinks, and zapiekanka were just steps away. Of course, there’s street noise, but they provide earplugs. The check-in was hassle-free too. Before I left the USA, I completed a check-in document and uploaded my passport and travel details, then they sent the building and apartment door codes. By the time we got to Warsaw, we could just go straight in. It’s a small apartment, as I’d expect for that location. If you want a huge room like you might find in the USA, you’d pay quite a bit more. It was arranged well enough for us, with space for our large luggage, a small kitchen with a stove, oven, and fridge, and a washing machine. We had everything we needed and no complaints. For the location and amenities, I thought the price was a great deal. I’d happily stay here again.

There was no reception to welcome us, and there was a mix-up when we went to have breakfast in the neighboring building. We were told we hadn’t booked it, even though we had. The room was so cramped that getting to the bathroom meant stepping over the beds.

It was noisy, dirty, and so tiny there wasn’t even a chair. Felt more like a bad Airbnb than a hotel.
