West Apartments Hoża 36

The apartment looks newly renovated and is superb. It could pass for one of the best hotels around.

The location and fresh linens were the positives, but this place was nowhere near what I'd call an apartment. There was a bad smell, dampness and bugs, and the floor was dirty, especially under the bed, which clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. The chairs were damaged, sockets were sticking out and shorting against the walls, and the shower stall was in terrible shape. No one told me the stairwell was being renovated.

The shower glass was dirty, and there was mold around the connections between the shower and the window guide. Dirt was everywhere, and the bedding and sheets were stained. This was our first and last time here. We only stayed because my wife decided to, and because of WOŚP (Warsaw Fire Service). Otherwise, we would have gone home without spending the night. Even one star feels too generous.

Right in the city centre, this little studio had everything we needed and was clean, tidy, and very cozy. It's hard to imagine a better spot for a couple. I liked it more than a five-star hotel.
