Clean, fairly priced, and just a five-minute trip from the lake. The hosts were friendly, and I’ll be visiting again!

Clean and nice!

It’s a modern complex of small apartments and wooden cabins in a lovely spot right by Lake Mauersee, though there’s no direct access to the lake. The area is very quiet, and both the buildings and furnishings are modern. I felt comfortable, and the whole place worked well, but it did feel austere rather than cozy. The hot water wasn’t working.

There was lots of room for kids to play, with two playgrounds, soccer goals, open space, games in the covered shelter with a cimber grove, and places to sit if the weather turned. There’s also a fire pit with benches and bikes for rent. Our new cottage was very well equipped, especially the kitchen, and had its own barbecue. The cottages are far enough apart that you barely notice the neighbors unless they’re loud. We stayed at the end of July and start of August, yet the grounds still felt spacious and uncrowded. It’s a quiet, scenic spot, with the lake right next door but no direct access. The host was very friendly. You can unwind in nature, maybe even spot a moose :D There’s a lot here for families, and the price was very good. I recommend it for a break from the crowds.
