Eden

The garden is tidy and a relaxing place to spend some time, and we really enjoyed the traditional Polish dinners. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds. The two friendly women who run the hotel speak fluent English and are always fun to talk with. It’s nicely central, with a beautiful walk through the national park to a white sandy beach, about 10-15 minutes on foot.

The owners are two sisters, and it’s clear they put a lot of love into the place and genuinely care about their guests’ comfort. My bedroom wasn’t huge, but it was big enough, and surprisingly warm despite the cold October weather. They don’t skimp on heating, and the bed was very comfortable, which matters most to me. I loved the huge, high-ceilinged salon and dining area. It has a grand feel, with a fireplace lit every evening. Breakfast was plentiful, and we were offered a two-course dinner each evening, which was especially welcome since there were no restaurants open in the village in October. There are extra rooms beyond the fireplace area, with a TV, sofas, and billiards, so there’s plenty of space for a larger group or family. You don’t have to stay cooped up in the bedroom. Guests also get a large free parking area. We couldn’t use the big garden behind the house because it was cold, but I can imagine it’s lovely in summer. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

The hosts are so friendly, and the place is quiet and peaceful. The food is what you’d hope for at breakfast and dinner. There’s a beautiful garden with plenty of spots to sit with a book, relax, or have coffee. The rooms are lovely and have ensuite toilets. The national park is right around you for walks or bike rides, and it’s a 15-minute walk to the Baltic Sea. Another amazing stay at Eden. If I could give six stars, I would. See you soon, Wiselka!

My first trip to Poland was a fantastic time at Eden. It feels homey, and the food is great. The walk to the beach is picturesque. I’d definitely come back!
