Apartamenty nad Wisla

We were there on a New Year's Eve special offer, from December 29, 2019, to January 2, 2020. We booked a suite but got a standard room with a kitchenette. It was cold, though at least not freezing. There was a summer heater and an electric one with a loud fan. Some days the shower water was only lukewarm. The buffet breakfast and dinner were great for two days, with plenty of choice. On New Year's Eve breakfast was okay, but dinner didn't arrive until 8 p.m., just as the celebrations started. It felt like a cost-saving move. We got Caesar salad and pork chop, and that was the last of the hot food. The soggy, cold risotto was inedible, and the cold appetizers were atrocious. On December 29, dinner was supposedly accompanied by highlander songs, but it turned out to be music from a cheap CD. The exit to the street was slippery, and nobody had sanded the driveway. We had to find sand and spread it ourselves. Ten points to the gym staff member. I don't recommend it.

The staff are very helpful, and they had no problem arranging an early breakfast. Breakfast is excellent, buffet-style, with as much as you like. The Tuesday barbecues are a fun way to mingle, like get-togethers in communist Poland. There's a Wispol bus stop close by, and the single room has a big comfortable bed. Some people complain about not being able to get coffee or tea after 8 p.m., but each room has a kettle, cups, glasses, plates, and cutlery, so what's the issue? Towels can be changed every three days. After a mountain hike I got so much dirt on my shoes that I had to sweep my room myself. There are always naysayers in every crowd.

The food was delicious, and our room was clean and spacious, with fragrant bedding and comfortable beds. Parking is available on site, and the location is great. Friendly service too. We'll definitely be back.

The rooms are lovely, with a large bathroom and a kitchenette that has everything you need. Breakfast was delicious and there was lots to choose from. The place is well located, about a 15-minute walk to the city center and 10 minutes to the Gołębiewski Hotel with its swimming pools. Mountain trails are close by. I recommend it.
