A cosy, beautiful place, and the owner was really helpful and hospitable.

The cottage is thoughtfully designed and beautiful, but it needs a thorough clean. Dust was hiding under the bed, on shelves under the table and behind the nightstands. The shower hadn’t been cleaned in a long time: there was dried dirt on the hose, moldy grout and cobwebs. I wouldn’t pay upfront without seeing the room first. There’s potential here, but for now I recommend checking the room before paying. We asked for cleaning and staff came, but we still had to clean the shower ourselves and sweep dust from under the bed. We left the cobwebs alone. The ground-floor communal kitchen is well equipped, but having one tablecloth there for the whole week is poor service. The dishwasher didn’t seem to be cleaned often, and there was dust in the nooks, chandeliers and windowsills too.

We rented the cottage for all 13 of us for Christmas. Everyone had private space, and the large kitchen table gave us a great spot to spend time together. The cottage is atmospheric and very well equipped, keeping the character of an old cottage while still offering all the amenities. The host was very kind and helpful. We highly recommend it :)

It looks beautiful in the photos, but only in the photos. The bushes make it impossible to walk peacefully between the "parking lot" and the property entrance, and there are cobwebs all over the rooms and kitchen. The grass is alive with life. There was even a cobweb above the shower stall with a large spider living in it. I don't recommend this place. Best regards.
