Sun & Snow Bukowa Góra

I don’t recommend Sun and Snow. It’s rare these days to be treated this way as a “guest.” They cancel reservations for “technical reasons,” then offer a lower standard at another location, even though rooms are still available at the same property for 200 PLN more. The company seems focused solely on profit, so don’t be surprised if your planned holiday gets canceled! :) They should train their staff in customer-friendly practices.

The view was the one good thing about our stay. The building was in poor shape, and our apartment had missing hinges, a dishwasher, and a balcony door that was broken and never repaired. Even the dishes looked like they’d come from different parishes. When we asked security to step in after the cleaning service took our parking spot, they said they wouldn’t search the rooms for them. They seemed to be there mostly for show.

After hiking in the mountains, it was great to come back to such a comfortable place. The interior is lovely, the bed is comfortable, and the balcony looks out over the Vistula River and the surrounding area. Our car was parked under a roof, too. It’s a fantastic base for hikes, and for me it’s just about perfect. We’ll definitely return.

The balcony views are wonderful, and everything has been good each time we’ve stayed. We’ve been here before and it won’t be our last visit.
