Willa Monte

It’s warm inside, the rooms are tidy and well looked after, and there’s a separate room for ski gear. You can get your equipment on inside the building and ski straight down to the slopes, which is really handy. Breakfast is fresh, varied, and delicious, with real care put into it. The owner is friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to, and the place has a homely feel. We’ve stayed at Willa Monte in Wisła Malinka again and would gladly come back.

The location is the main draw for learning to ski. Walk out the door and you’re at the slope, with a ski school and instructors available, including for children aged 3 and up at 140 PLN/hour. The hotel is warm and very clean, with hot shower water, quick-drying clothes hangers in the hallway, and a playroom for kids. Breakfast has some variety, though it’s a standard hotel buffet. You can use the open dining room and kitchen around the clock, and there’s free coffee 24/7. The dining room looks right at the cable car, T-bar lift, and slope. The ski room is unheated and poorly ventilated. There’s no hairdryer, and only soap, no shampoo, in the bathroom.

We’ve visited before and will be back. The owners are thoughtful, kind, and attentive to what guests need. Breakfast was delicious and kept well stocked, with plenty of choice. There’s a playroom for children, plus shared dining and kitchenette space, and the rooms are very spacious, some looking out over the slopes. The villa is well equipped and sits right by the Klepki slope, with Cieńków just across the road. A great place for winter sports and easy to recommend.

The owners were warm and helpful, even offering advice about buying ski passes. There’s a handy room for ski and snowboard gear, and the sauna and jacuzzi can be booked for private use. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and varied enough for everyone to find something. I stayed in a double room for several days of snowboarding and found the room and whole property clean, pleasant, and well maintained. Being right beside the slopes made the trip especially convenient. I’d happily return and recommend it.
