There are some things for children to do, but although the website mentions entertainment, it doesn’t really feel like there’s much. Our cottage was also a mess when we arrived: dust in the kitchen cabinets, bits of tangled fabric on the floor, and dirty cups and plates, with coffee stains on some and grease on others. We’d stayed at Koliber once before and loved it, so this was a big disappointment. I can’t say if it was just our cottage or a coincidence, but it no longer felt like the same resort. This was our last visit. On the way home, we wondered if this happened because the owners were focused on their kebab bar or for some other reason.

The kids will have a blast with all the activities. The younger owner is incredibly friendly, and the animators are lovely and work hard to keep the children happy. There are games, activities, an elimination machine, a foam party, popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, wands, a movie, giant walking stuffed animals, and dancing. The animator treats every child equally, and if one cries, she’ll pick them up and give them a hug. The kids fall in love with her. She can handle any problem.

There’s plenty of space to relax and have fun, and the beach is close by. After a long day, you can unwind in the sauna or jacuzzi, which is a real treat. The Hummingbird Cottages exceeded our expectations. The cottages and apartments were very clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. The owners were so friendly and helpful that we felt welcome and looked after right from the start. We wholeheartedly recommend it for a comfortable holiday in beautiful surroundings, and we’ll definitely be back. 🌞🌊🌿

The cottages are nice, and there are lots of attractions for children on cold days and otherwise. But while the center is run by a mother and daughter, the mother's attitude was unacceptable. She kept complaining about things like where chairs had been put, or other trivial matters, and was unkind. She had an issue with the dog in the next cottage even though its stay was paid for. When I mentioned another dog running around and relieving itself, she said it belonged to the neighbors and she couldn’t control it. Our dishwasher was broken, and the beds squeaked loudly with every movement at night. The beds in the cottage next door squeaked too.
