Pensjonat Ibiza

It’s fine for a night. The owner is very nice and helpful, but the guesthouse has seen better days and it shows. It’s on one of Władysławowo’s main entertainment streets, which was noisy even out of season.

The room looked clean at first glance, the bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean. It’s fairly cheap off-season, and the beach is close, about 600m away. Shops, a kebab place (which I don’t recommend), and ice cream were all within 100m. The facilities were modest but manageable. The bathroom could use a proper renovation: the tiles were cracked and patched with silicone.

The courtyard was awful, and the room was cramped and not very clean. The bathroom itself was fine. Service was only by phone, and I had to wait half an hour for the owner both when I arrived and when I left. I didn’t use the microwave or fridge because they were disgusting. It’s a moderate distance from the sea.

The location is the only plus. The photos make it look lovely, but the place was dirty and neglected. The balcony hadn’t been swept, and there were no chairs like the ones shown in the photos. Cobwebs were all over the rooms. The beds were useless: at 80 kg, I sank almost to the floor through four sheets, and the mattresses were worn out. The eating setup was poor. With two people staying there, we had to share it. Water from the shower tray took about 20 minutes to drain. The toilet was what scared me most. I’m attaching a photo, though I can’t say when she saw the debris and detergent. The dirt looked like it might be a year old, and it didn’t even come off when I flushed. The kitchenette was in the hallway, with a dirty fridge and a microwave on a chair beside it. An old sweater was lying on top, and there was dust nearby. Very expensive for these conditions!
