Hotel Victoria

The parking is right beside the hotel and the receptionist opens the gate, though there is a fee. The daytime receptionist was nice; the one on duty at night was not. Breakfast was modest. It was very hot while we were there, around 35-36°C during the day and at least 24°C at night. The air conditioner cooled the room for only 4-6 hours, then started blowing warm air. I woke up because the room was too hot to sleep in, so I turned it off to stop it heating the room further. I asked to move rooms, but a rude man at reception came into my room and said he wouldn't give me another one because it was too warm after I had switched off the air conditioner. He didn't believe me when I explained that I turned it off because it had begun blowing warm air. After being off for 45 minutes, the unit would start cooling again. That meant staying awake in the middle of the night, waiting for the room to cool enough to sleep. I had to stop the overheated air conditioner every night and wait for it to cool down. My colleagues' room had the same air conditioning problem too.

The staff were really nice and the service was very good. The rooms were okay, though the beds are small. The food menu is limited, but what we tried tasted decent enough. It was a nice visit and a good trip.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The food was good too, with great service and amazing prices. I'll definitely visit again soon 👍🏾

There are shops and restaurants nearby, and the hotel is central to a lot of places. The staff were friendly. It also has its own restaurant and serves a breakfast buffet.
