Bike Up Aparthotel

We loved the room’s decor, and it was well kept. The train station is just a five-minute walk away, there are tram stops nearby, and you can walk into the center of Wrocław in 15 to 20 minutes. Great place for travellers. I’d stay here again if I returned to Wrocław.

The apartment was clean and roomy, with a modern, recently fitted kitchenette and bathroom. It was also very affordable and only a few minutes’ walk from the main station. The area outside the building gets quite dark at night. I added a star after the owner replied that courtyard lights would be fixed soon.

The shared areas were a letdown: the courtyard, hallways, and other common spaces were dirty and had rubbish lying around. In summer, mosquitoes also get into the apartment, so we had to keep chasing them at night. An electric mosquito racket would help. Our stove didn’t work, which ruled out cooking and even making coffee. The apartment itself was reasonably comfortable and conveniently placed near both the main station and the city center. Nothing special, but otherwise acceptable.

We couldn’t make our three-day stay because we were ill. After calling to explain and asking to move the booking to different dates, we were turned down. The staff showed little flexibility despite our efforts to work something out. Based on this, future guests may want to consider how the establishment handles unexpected situations, as help might not be readily available.
