The facilities are stuck in the communist era, and the standard is very low, if not tragic, especially at around 350 PLN a night. The bathroom has old fittings and an unpleasant smell. There’s also a 30 PLN parking charge that you only find out about on arrival, and it’s way out of line with the conditions. From the start, check-in was chaotic. One receptionist was trying to handle everyone at once and couldn’t keep up. She was unpleasant and clearly frustrated, taking it out on guests with comments that don’t belong in customer service. She seemed unprepared and disorganized, with no control over the situation or sense of responsibility. Instead of helping us, she talked about organizational problems that guests shouldn’t have to worry about. We spent dozens of minutes hearing that the reservation hadn’t loaded, that she had to download it manually from Booking.com, and that something wasn’t working. Only after we suggested it did she do what should have happened from the beginning. I used Booking.com to keep everything clear, but the property seemed to have no idea what was going on when we arrived. Then we were told we might have to pay extra because “the system assigned a larger room than it should have.” Guests book a specific offer, so blaming system or staff errors on us is absurd. There were complaints about a broken gate and other “problems of the day” too, as if guests arriving after a trip should have to listen to them. Instead of sorting things out, staff showed frustration and tried to excuse their own incompetence. The most absurd case was a woman who left her child alone in the room while shopping. She forgot her key and couldn’t get back in, and nobody could help because the receptionist was alone and “unable to leave.” That shows how unprepared they were and how there were no procedures for situations like this. The whole stay was disarray, poor service, and responsibility being pushed onto guests. I absolutely don’t recommend it. If you don’t want to start your stay stressed and frustrated, steer clear.

I parked just outside the entrance and wasn't sure whether city parking charges had started. I wanted to pay remotely, but the polite man at the hotel desk told me fees wouldn't apply until the parking meters were installed. I hadn't used the hotel's own services, though there are other services in the building. I also heard him helping guests and speaking with staff in a courteous, professional way. I'd recommend the place to friends.
