Really spotless, and pretty much perfect.

The reception staff were friendly, and the location was good, but that’s about all I can say in its favor. There’s no air conditioning, so the room gets hard to breathe in when it’s hot, and the living-room sofa squeaks so much that you’re better off not turning over in your sleep. I also found the rules and extra charges made the stay stressful. You need to leave a 500 PLN deposit by card in case of damage or rule violations. Smoking is banned even on the balcony, and they may charge extra if you don’t use the room. Residents may call security if there’s a disturbance, and then there’s a security fee. I was worried about doing anything in the apartment for fear of being charged. I booked expecting a hotel-style apartment, but it was in a separate apartment building next to the main one, overlooking a construction site. Read the apartment website’s rules carefully before booking so you know what to expect.

The location is very good, close to the city centre, but be careful about the deposit taken at reception. Our child accidentally broke the shower glass. We told the staff ourselves and were willing to pay the full cost, but nobody told us how much it would be. Instead, they tried to take the money straight from my account. The bank blocked it, but suspended my card, so I had to get a new one. To me, that felt like theft. I don’t recommend this place.

There was a tasty pizza place, shops, and everything else we needed for a holiday right in front of our building. The location made it easy to get around. Our apartment was spacious, with a lovely view, and the place was quiet. Staff kept things peaceful so guests wouldn’t disturb each other. I’d love to return.
