Park Hotel Diament Wroclaw

There’s a gym and sauna, plus accessible parking nearby, which is convenient. The parking is paid and quite expensive for disable people, though, and the gym dumbbells only go up to 10 kg, so they’re not enough for a more serious workout. The room was comfortable and clean, with a spacious, soft bed, a convenient toilet, and a decent shower cabin. The main shower head didn’t work, so the shower was running at about 50% capacity. Sound insulation was poor. The hotel’s location is quite good, and my impression was above average.

The staff gave excellent customer service, and the food was good. My room was comfortable, and the hotel is close to a train station and less than 30 minutes from the airport.

For the price, this is a good hotel. It’s clean, modern, and comfortable, with amazingly soft beds and pillows. There was plenty of space for two of us in a business room. Watch out for the bumps in the road just before you reach the hotel. We almost lost a tire, mostly our own fault, but still worth being careful.

We were woken in the early hours by a maid barging into our room without knocking. When I complained at checkout, there was no apology. They said we’d have to wait until Monday to speak with a manager. I went through my agent, who told me a week later that they’d tried to contact the hotel several times without getting a reply. Our stay had started with another privacy failure: after our late flight, we checked in during the early hours and found someone already in our room. The half-clothed occupant was understandably angry and as confused as we were. At reception, the clerk simply gave us a different room without apologizing. The customer service was shocking, and the hotel is an embarrassment. If basic privacy matters to you, look elsewhere.
