The owner was nice, but the house itself was old, dirty and smelled bad. We got the impression it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The heaters didn’t work, so our room was very cold and we both got sick. Getting to the city centre by bus was difficult, and it wasn’t easy to find buses that went there. We’d also been told beforehand there was parking, but ended up leaving the car on the street. I’m sure better conditions can be found pretty much anywhere.

It’s a hostel, so don’t expect luxury, but it’s a nice one. Friendly staff, quiet, and good value.

My husband and I stayed overnight at a company before work. The linens felt as fresh as at home. It was so nice to be able to speak Russian. Thank you.

The building has an interesting history and looks a bit like a mountain hut. We found fresh linens and friendly, helpful staff, with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Parking is available on the wide sidewalk in front of the building.

From outside, it looked quite luxurious and inviting in the morning, and the owner was very friendly. He speaks some English and gave us tips on public transportation. We checked in late, though, and at first the place felt a bit gloomy, with crosses and icons. It didn’t seem suited to a young group, but we weren’t fussy about where to sleep. It was fairly clean, though in need of renovation. There was even Wi-Fi. We were disappointed by the plumbing and the clogged drain.
