Breakfast was okay, but you have to choose an exact time for every day of your stay when you arrive. It gets brought to the room in the morning, and the cart rattling loudly down the hallway wakes you early. The stairs are extremely long, there’s no lift, and getting to a top-floor room is quite a climb. The location is the only good thing about this “hotel”. It has the charm of a convent, crammed full of Christian iconography. The rooms weren’t great either. The bed in my first room collapsed in the middle of the night. At first they refused to move me and said they’d just fix it, even though it was clearly a bad previous repair. I woke up rudely at 2am. Worst nights’ sleep of the whole trip, and I definitely can’t recommend it.

It’s near the center, and breakfast is decent. That’s about where the positives end. There’s no elevator, and when I checked out, the guy at reception didn’t even offer to help with my suitcase. My room had no shower gel, and nobody cleaned it during my five-day stay. I honestly don’t understand how this place has four stars. You can find a better hotel for the same price.

Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the hotel was well organized for things like room service. The staff were really nice too. We had a very pleasant stay, especially for the price. The location worked well, about 10-15 minutes on foot from the city centre and 5 minutes from the islands and the Cathedral.

We stayed four nights, my daughter and I. The staff were lovely and always helpful, and there was unlimited tea and coffee from machines around the building. Breakfast had a great range and was amazing. The rooms are simple, but spotless, with comfortable beds, lots of storage and a great bathroom with toiletries. A really good stay for a very reasonable rate.

We had a great time with our friends. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds cozy, and breakfast tasty. If you get a room facing the river, the view is quite something. We could hear our neighbours talking because the rooms are a bit sound sensitive, but that doesn't bother me, so everything was great.
