Hotel Kosmowski

The restaurant serves a varied, high quality menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff there are welcoming, friendly, and give each person a smile and individual attention. The owner and other staff are also super friendly and go out of their way to help make the stay comfortable. The location is right in the center, with plenty of parking. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and well equipped, though some feel dated and need updating. The walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbors.

From Wednesday through Saturday, it was almost impossible to sleep because the hotel became a party spot, with loud music and people. The hotel hasn’t invested in sound insulation to reduce the noise. The owner seemed to have little regard for guests’ comfort, and complaints went ignored. It felt like hosting parties mattered more than giving guests a restful stay. If you want somewhere peaceful, I strongly recommend another hotel.

The staff are really nice, and the restaurant and bar are very good, with lots of variety. The bowling alley is also pretty nice, though the lanes and balls are very dry and could use a good waxing. The rooms look older than they do in the online pictures. Beds are comfortable, but only twin sized. Some rooms have a decent TV, while most have a tiny one. Bathrooms are old and small, and the showers are tiny and rusty. The handle is right in the middle of the wall, so in that cramped space I kept knocking it to either super hot or super cold. Wi-Fi was the worst. It crashed at least once or twice nearly every day while I was trying to work. The stay wasn’t terrible, but the place could use some work, especially the Wi-Fi.

The restaurant has a wide selection, and the dishes are prepared really well. I’d come here to eat rather than to sleep. The hotel feels a bit old, with dated rooms and bathrooms, and some rooms are under construction. Some don’t have air conditioning. The beds are okay, but overall the rooms aren’t great.
