It's an easy walk to the Harenda slope, and the hotel works well for families, with a playroom for both younger and older kids. Breakfast was very nice, with traditional touches, and I especially appreciated the coffee machine. We also had homemade dinners.

The entrance is really cramped, and the bed has an old-fashioned spring mattress. The WiFi barely works and keeps disappearing. The fridge in my room was as loud as a plane. Reception is only open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., and nobody asked if I needed anything. I even had to buy my own toilet paper from the shop because there was no one at reception.

The place was okay, especially for the good price, so I'm not complaining. Breakfast was odd but tasty, with lots of cold cuts and salads with mayo dressing, though there was no muesli. Coffee was instant only. I didn't try the WiFi. It's close to a bus station and a shop, and there are three restaurants about 15 minutes away.
