The windows give the apartment plenty of light, but none have insect screens, so in summer wasps can be around in quite a few places. That can quickly take away from the mood, even over just a couple of days. Still, it's a very good place for a family with children to stay briefly if you don't mind a few small flaws. In winter the wasps are asleep, but I won't be staying here then.

Getting to hiking trails is easy, and the apartment is away from Zakopane's busy areas. We stayed three nights as two parents with our two kids. There was plenty of space, it was comfortable, well furnished and clean, and we didn't find ourselves missing anything. The window views were stunning. After long hikes, the foot massager was especially popular. There's a private parking spot for a small fee, and bus stops are close by too. We'd happily recommend it and come back.

The neighborhood is quiet, with lovely views from the windows, and the center is only a few minutes away by car. It's one of the best vacation rentals I've stayed in. The apartment is spacious and has all the practical things, from kitchen appliances to an iron and TV, plus plenty of homey details like lamps, pillows, and decorations.

We had a really pleasant stay, and the rooms and bathroom were clean. There were cobwebs on the ceilings, though. 😉 The property manager was nice to deal with.
