Willa Kominiarski Wierch

The building looks lovely, and its design is really the main thing this hotel has going for it. But breakfast is very basic, there was no creamer or soap in the room, and the shower enclosure is tiny. The service lets the place down completely, so I understand the 3-star rating. Would I stay again? No.

The service was really great, and breakfast came with generous portions and plenty of variety. The rooms and facilities were impressive too, especially the sauna.

The people at Willa Kominiarski Wierch were polite and helpful from check-in, which was easy. They speak good English and even helped me plan days out on local buses. I stayed for three nights, from the 10th to the 13th, with my 14- and 11-year-olds, and was lucky enough to extend the stay. It felt safe and clean, and the location is ideal: the main street, a museum, and the entrance to Gubałówka are all within walking distance. We could also catch a glimpse of the Tatra mountains. Breakfast was a treat, with wonderful bread from a nearby bakery and a tasty Swedish platter with enough variety. The local goat milk was refreshing, and the honey was good too. My 14-year-old wants to bake like the Polish now. The sauna was a very good experience, and everything we needed was included without an extra purchase. I’m definitely coming back to Zakopane and staying with the team again. Thank you!

The center is only about a 10-minute walk away, and there’s parking on site. Our room was clean and warm, and the staff were lovely, always smiling. Breakfast was tasty and perfectly fine. You can use the sauna for 45 minutes a day. We had a really pleasant stay.
