The hostel itself was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. Our room was fine and everything was tidy. The manager kindly arranged a late-night arrival and left the keys in a locker, so checking in was no problem. But Google Maps sent us somewhere else. After a long drive, we arrived late at night in freezing weather and were directed to a private residential yard at a completely different location. We spent around 40 minutes outside in the dark, walking around and looking for the hostel and key locker before realizing it was elsewhere. We were exhausted and hadn’t expected the problem. We also share some responsibility, since we trusted Google Maps without checking the address. Booking and the hostel’s official website show the right location. I’ll add a screenshot/map to show where Google Maps takes you and where the hostel actually is. Please double-check before you arrive.

The staff were really friendly and agreed to store our luggage at the front office until the afternoon before we left. The breakfast looked nice, and the price was competitive for the location. Still, our stay at Zamoszc Hotel wasn’t very good. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the city centre, which isn’t bad, but the double bed we ordered turned out to be two single beds pushed together, and it was quite uncomfortable. There were also only two shared showers and two toilets, which wasn’t ideal for comfort, and nowhere to hang a towel in the showers.

The kitchen and staff were really good, and everything was very clean. Our room was big, though the door didn’t work very well. There was sometimes an annoying noise from the shower.

The food was delicious, the rooms were clean and nice, and the service was friendly. It’s also very close to the Old Town. I’d recommend stopping here during a visit to Zamość.

The kitchen and shared areas were better than expected. It’s cheap, luxurious, clean, and the people are super friendly. Highly recommended.
