The location is incredibly handy, just seconds from the city center, yet it was fairly quiet. The place was clean, and the room had a homely look. The en-suite bathroom was well stocked, too. A good quality stay for a modest price, with no fuss. Recommended.
There was no breakfast option and no reception. The place looked abandoned, apparently managed by one person watching the entrance on a camera and a cleaning lady doing what she could between guests. It's expensive and dirty, with the feel of a student house and furniture from the communist era. Some entrances had no lights, the sink was barely attached to the wall and could be pulled down with one hard tug, and the carpets look more than 50 years old. The Azov battalion had more comfort in Mariupol, Azovstal, than in this "spelunka". In summer, I can find a cheaper 3 star hotel on the Baltic sea.
For that price, the place is really okay.
Okay.
It's a big minus as a hotel. The only thing going for it is the location, with everything nearby. Rooms aren't cleaned daily, and the towels aren't changed and smell bad. Better to have your own place.
