The one good thing is the location, right in the city center on the promenade, unit 3, and the breakfasts are good. But I don't recommend this place. The photos don't match reality, and the "apartment" was aired out before we arrived, yet once the windows were shut there was an old smell of rot and cigarettes. Smoking is supposedly forbidden, but there are no smoke detectors and people smoke. After just one night, everything needed washing. The beds, furniture, and carpets all needed replacing, and the place needed painting. The bathroom needed renovation too, starting with the plumbing. It doesn't deserve to be called an APARTMENT, it's just a MOTEL. Entry is by key, but someone could make a duplicate and steal from future tenants. That's unacceptable! You can't ask for a bill, as if I didn't know my own email address. I also left a review on Booking.com. For this condition, I think it should be closed and not rented until fully renovated. I don't recommend it.

Breakfast was a four minute walk down the promenade. The apartment itself was disappointing. The shower head was broken and leaked, couldn't be tightened, and the water pressure was so low I barely managed to wash. The drain was poor too. The sink had no hot water because the pressure was low. The headboard was dirty, so I slept "at my feet." The walls, TV, and radiator were dirty as well. The duvet was thin, and I needed an extra blanket. Earlier, around 4 PM, I called to book one night. A young woman said she'd give me the owner's number, but I'd have to text him and wait because he wouldn't answer calls. He called back after more than an hour and confirmed. On the way there, I texted that I'd arrive after 10:15 PM. My phone then ran out of battery, and I got a text with instructions for collecting the key from a locker. The place was already closed at 10:08 PM, so I called the owner for help because I couldn't read the texts. Instead, he angrily said I was calling after 10 when he was asleep, that he'd sent a text and I should deal with it myself. Just before hanging up, I heard him say rudely, "What a woman!" I was left alone with the problem on a dark, cold night. I went back to my car, managed to turn my dead phone on briefly, read the key code, and got into the "apartment," which was as disappointing as its owner. I'll never stay here again. The owner should show more empathy and humility, since guests are how he makes a living. I advise avoiding this place and not feeding the ingrate. Other comments sound similar, which speaks for itself. I absolutely do not recommend it!
