Casa Robinson Guest House

The location is good and the owner was great, but the room was far too small for three people, despite being listed for that number. The bathroom was tiny and had only a bar of soap. The microwave looked as if it hadn't been used in years, and we couldn't even use it to heat water. Lizards were running around the garden just outside our door, which I really don't like. For what we paid, this wasn't the stay I expected. I'd say it shouldn't cost more than $70 a day. We were so disappointed that we cancelled the second night and went back to the mainland early. If you absolutely have no other choice, it might do, but otherwise I'd find somewhere else or make it a day trip.

The view from room #3 was phenomenal, and the whole area felt quiet and safe. Mr. Robinson was always glad to answer questions and offer suggestions when we asked. We stayed five nights, and Casa Robinson had everything we needed: clean rooms, comfortable beds, and an air conditioner that kept things cool. We could also use snorkels and fins, plus the washer and dryer. Everything about our stay was excellent, and we'd recommend it and love to come back.

We had no idea what to expect when we called Casa Robinson on the way to Culebra. The rates were much lower than most other places on the island, but the house sits high on one of the biggest hills and has an incredible panoramic view. Mr Robinson lives on site and was so friendly. He gave us useful tips on beaches and island details, and places to eat or get a drink, which helped since some spots can be closed or hard to find. He even offered to pick us up at the ferry, and had rooms ready for us.

We sat outside in the hammock chatting and taking in a breathtaking view. The rooms have a wraparound balcony overlooking the bay, along with a full fridge, microwave, and dishes. Senor Robinson treated us like family. He's right next to the airport and offered to pick us up and take us back. He also took my family around the island, dropped us at the beach, and came back for us. I'm at a regular Marriott now, and I'm grateful we had this experience.
