Hillbay View Suites

We were soaked, along with our belongings, when we came in from the rain. The woman at the front desk gave us attitude because water got on her wooden floor. She seemed to lack basic respect and sympathy, and I later found out she was the owner's wife. I can't understand how she manages the property. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. The island is lovely and has lots of other places to stay.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the place was decent for what it cost. It was difficult to find, though, and not very close to the town's attractions. I barely spent time in my room, so the terrible WiFi didn't affect me much, but you'll want a good mobile data plan.

The cupboards were way too high for me, lol. Still, this is my favourite place I've stayed while visiting PR so far, though it's not really PR. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had a great feel to them. The bay view was superb, easily 10 stars!

Our stay ended early because of hurracaine Dorian, but Madeleine did a lot to make sure we were comfortable in the beautiful, very clean villa. She even went to the port to check that we could buy tickets back to Puerto Rico before the storm. From my first contact to make the reservation through the time I left hillbay, the customer service was excellent. We had a great time. Thank you!
