Parador Guánica 1929

Everything felt special here, especially the peaceful atmosphere and the way the staff went out of their way to treat guests with warmth and care. The facilities were excellent, clean, and well organized, and there are many beautiful beaches nearby. The restaurant is easily one of the best on the island. I loved the experience and am already planning to return soon.

We felt welcome throughout our visit, thanks to the friendly, attentive staff. The restaurant’s delicious choices were better than we expected, and our clean, comfortable room made it easy to relax. I had a fantastic stay at the Parador and highly recommend it.

The grounds are spacious and beautiful, with plenty of room for children to play. The pool was well cared for and just the right temperature, and the surrounding area was peaceful and scenic. Food was reasonably priced, especially compared with San Juan, though it was fine rather than memorable. The rooms are small and dated, probably too small for someone using a wheelchair. The air conditioning worked, but blew straight across the bed, which was only okay at best. The hotel itself feels like it belongs in a history book, and it’s beautiful. It’s a mixed stay, but I’d recommend it if you’re willing to give up a little luxury for an otherwise pleasant experience.

The food wasn’t very good, the facilities need work, and the room had old beds and hadn’t been cleaned properly. There were young people working without adult supervision, and worst of all, there was no security. Guests are left on their own, with no staff around. I won’t come back.
