I really liked the water stations on every floor, with still, sparkling, and hot water available for each guest. A nice eco-friendly touch. The hotel also has direct beach access and fantastic views, plus great service. Both restaurants on site were good, and the pool and lounge on the second floor were a perfect place to cool down before or after the beach.

The shower was a standout, huge and fitted with both a rain head and a handheld sprayer. It’s a high-end hotel right on the beach, with a second-floor pool where you can see the water, a restaurant, and beach loungers with food and drink service. That beach service stops at 5:45pm. The food and drinks cost a bit much, though there are cheaper choices a block away. The elevators gave us trouble during our stay, and one of them broke, which is why I’m giving four stars. I’d still recommend it to anyone looking for a good beachside resort.

Kumo and the Raw Bar were exceptional, and the beach food and drink service was amazing too. The beach itself is perfect, with chairs, towels, and umbrellas provided while you relax. The hotel is beautiful, with a boho, beachy boutique feel, helpful and friendly staff, and a spa-like smell throughout. It’s in a perfect location. Don’t let the low ratings put you off enjoying what this hotel offers.

The breakfast was the one part that fell short, with lackluster food and service. Everything else made us happy to stay here, and I’d gladly return and recommend it. The heated second-floor pool was lovely and warm, the adjoining restaurant served good food, and the cleaning staff were amazing. The front desk was helpful, too. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom and shower with nice L'occitane amenities. I was glad to find the floor-to-ceiling opening was a doorwall after all. The step-out balcony was too small to sit on, but being able to open the door for fresh air and check the weather was nice. The beach across the street was beautiful, with great beach beds, umbrellas, towels, and waiter service. We liked it best after Culebra. The hotel felt modern, fresh, and fun. One more thing: La Santurcita, about a 10-15 minute drive away, had some of the best food we’ve ever had. Amazing wood-oven pizza on homemade sourdough, plus inventive, mouthwatering salads and appetizers. We liked it so much we went back the next night. Puerto Rico is a fun destination.
