I stayed for one night before my cruise, and the place felt creepy throughout. The bathroom was dirty, with an open window where the glass should have been, sharing a wall with the hallway. Someone could put a hand through or watch you in there. The sheets were dirty too, and the TV remote had dead batteries. A cord ran out the window to an antenna hanging outside. There were no instructions for getting in, so I had to call several times. The listing appears under different names on booking.com, Priceline, Expedia, and other sites as daily rentals. It says San Juan, but it’s in Carolina, PR. The owner seemed sketchy, to say the least. I booked through Priceline and asked a supervisor for a refund, but the agent hung up on me. We went back and forth while the agent said they’d contact the owner. Horrible place. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

Stephanie met me at the condo late in the evening with the key. She was very nice and informative, and wouldn't take a tip. When I decided to stay another night, I texted her and she sorted it out right away. The place is being renovated, but it was still okay. My room was clean, with fresh towels in the bathroom and more in the closet. There were plenty of utensils, pots and pans, and a coffee pot, and the A/C worked well. I come every year for the Salsa Feast, and I’ll stay here from now on.

The room was okay, and parking was an issue. The location is next to the Ritz Carlton and close to the airport and main highway. There’s a Sixt car rental, Denny's, a cafe, restaurants, and the beach within walking distance. I’m a local living in the states, visiting for business and to see family and friends as usual. Hato Rey, Carolina, and San Juan are about 20 minutes away.

I love this place! There’s a pool, the beach is just a block away, and it’s very close to El San Juan Hotel and Casino.

Everything is close, and the beach is an easy walk. There are lots of restaurants and a nice bar downstairs. Really liked this place. I recommend it and will rent here again.
