Hyatt Place Manati

The front desk made check-in easy, and the stay felt safe. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and breakfast was included. There are plenty of nearby stores and hospitals, handy if you’re traveling with kids and an emergency comes up. The turnpike is just around the corner, and there’s also a casino near the hotel for anyone interested.

The lobby and bar felt welcoming, and the staff were pleasant. My room was a bit worn, though. The carpet was torn at the entrance and the bottom of the closet was broken. Housekeeping also missed the faucet and didn’t put liners in the trash cans. It’s not a huge deal, but I’d expect that from a Hyatt hotel.

We booked a last-minute night at Hyatt Place in Manatí so we could visit my grandmother at Manatee Medical Center. The front desk attendant was very helpful, and check-in was quick. Our room had plenty of space for the three of us, with two queen beds and a couch, and the bathroom was spacious with the toiletries we needed. I also liked that you could get free toiletries at the front desk or borrow certain items. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and stores, and parking was easy with lots of spaces. The pool was a good temperature at night, and the surrounding greenery and privacy made it feel like a little island oasis. Breakfast was phenomenal, with lots of choices for people with gluten or dairy intolerance. The breakfast seating felt like a full-service restaurant, and there were couches and a TV area for relaxing. There’s a snack area, plus a small café selling sandwiches and burgers for lunch. The food quality was amazing. The staff were kind and hospitable. The lobby has plenty of computers if you need to do research, and the gym has a water fountain for filling bottles, towels, and plenty of weights for a quick morning workout. The lobby decor gave it an all-inclusive resort feel. Very clean and upscale, a five-star stay for us. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Rico.

We enjoyed our five-day family trip to Puerto Rico and staying at Hyatt Place Manati. The room service stood out: they came promptly and cleaned every day. We don’t usually need daily service, but it was much appreciated after beach trips. Most of the staff were friendly too. Breakfast was nice, with fruit every day, which I appreciated. There weren’t many gluten-free or vegan options, though, and after a few days the choices felt repetitive. We loved swimming at night while listening to coqui frogs. Manati was a convenient base for visiting the east, west, and everything between. We’ll consider staying here again on our next trip to Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷
