8th and Ocean

Rincon has that colorful, small-town tropical feel of Key West, though with more of a Spanish character. There’s plenty to do, from restaurants and horseback riding to wind sailing, swimming, and especially snorkeling, which was my favorite. We could walk to a lot of places from the villa. Having four apartments, two larger and two smaller, made it easy to bring our adult kids and their spouses together while still giving everyone private space. The rooms were clean, roomy, comfortable, and well equipped, even though we ate out often. Being right on the beach with that view felt like heaven. It was a great setting for time together with family and friends, and we’re sure to come back for another reunion.

The views, beach, and handy location make this a place I keep wanting to return to. I’ve stayed at 8th and Ocean several times, with my family and for a girls getaway, and we’ve made so many good memories there. The villas are clean, restaurants and grocery stores are close, and it’s easy to relax with friends or family. You really can’t go wrong.

We spent the whole weekend at the villa without needing to go anywhere. We cooked and had BBQs there, and it’s fully equipped, though plenty of restaurants are close by if you want to eat out. The beach is phenomenal and the view is lovely. It was our first stay at 8th and Ocean, and we had such a wonderful family visit. We loved it and hope to return every year.
