Casa Pelayo

We were in town for a business trip and stayed through the weekend. At checkout, my coworker left his bag behind. We told the staff we'd return for it later that day after our activity. When we picked it up, my medical cannabis pen was missing. I have a license for it, and got it for injuries from my time in the Army. The bag had been on the living room table in the room, with the door closed, and the pen was inside it. Staff said they hadn't seen it, but it seemed clear someone had looked through the bag. The only people who entered the room were staff, and they should know that because there are cameras outside the door. They denied taking it, but it was the only missing item. If the bag had been outside the room or something else, I would have taken responsibility. This place was very unprofessional. The staff can enjoy the pen, since they clearly need it more than me.

The rooms were okay and the location was good, but the customer service was very poor. We had booked through hotels.com and arrived at 2 am with two kids, but the new owners didn't respond at all. Luckily, a nearby hostel helped us book the same place through Airbnb. I wouldn't recommend it because you risk getting no response.

The best place to stay when you're visiting PR!
