Mansion Miraflores

Our flight was cancelled because of the weather, so we couldn't check in. We contacted the hotel as soon as we found out and asked to cancel; staff said they would email about a refund or credit, but no email ever came. They didn't cancel the room and charged me for two full days. I sent messages every day asking for a refund or hotel credit and got no response. I was really disappointed with the service. Be careful before booking.

The big fridge and kitchenette are handy, and the place is clean with cold AC. But the water is cold, not even warm, so there are only cold showers. That's a deal breaker for me. The mattress needs replacing, and the sheets and comforter aren't big enough to cover two medium sized people. Fix those two things and this place could be a winner.

The bed was comfortable, the decor was decent, and there was plenty of parking. The location is central to places you might want to visit, and dishware is included. But the water only gets lukewarm, and the Wi-Fi and TV work only about half the time. The neighborhood felt pretty sketchy, and I don't understand reviews praising the staff when there aren't any staff here. I won't be back.

We stayed one night before leaving on a cruise. The room was excellent, and the AC worked wonderfully.
