The room was very clean and seemed newly remodeled, and the customer service was great. This feels more like a boutique hotel, with the owners treating you like family, than a typical hotel. It's a private, gated property in a quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and groceries are walkable, and Old San Juan is a short Uber ride away. Some of the best accommodations in San Juan.

The host was resourceful and gave us useful suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Good brunch spots are a five-minute walk away, and the beach is about 20 minutes on foot. We had a great time and will definitely return.

The room was disgusting, with rust in the shower and bathroom sink. The building looked like it was crumbling, with cracks on the outside walls, a puddle from the AC right in front of the room entrance, and a rusty gate that was hard to open. The neighbors moved downstairs to the cement Patio and played loud music late into the night, while the manager was nowhere to be seen. The photos on their page look at least 30 years old. I had to stay because there were no other accommodations available in the area, but this place was a disaster, like a junk yard. I wouldn't stay here if I could help it. In response to the owner, you're a liar. I stayed at your hotel the first week of March. I attached photos I took in the room.

Miramar is a quiet neighborhood, close enough to walk to Condado beach but far enough from heavy foot traffic. There's a grocery store nearby and some good restaurants, and the owner-operators are quick to respond and helpful. I like that my money supports locals instead of going to the Hilton family or whoever. Unless you're after a party house, it's a good option for an extended stay. It's a small operation with some imperfections. I had minor electrical issues, and there's no tub for soaking after walking around the island. Still, you should stay here!

Our first booking was awful. At 2 a.m., two of us were left stranded in a city we didn't know, and the contact was no help, saying we were double booked and there was nothing she could do. We had booked two separate sets of dates nearly a month apart. After that first experience, we didn't want to come back, so I asked for the first night and the later night to be refunded. I was told they wouldn't charge us for those nights because of the inconvenience. The first wasn't charged, thankfully, but the second was. I've called back several times asking them to honor their word and refund the second night, but they've given me the runaround and are hard to reach. Even Expedia couldn't get through. The booking and service were dismal. For your sanity, don't stay here. If anything goes wrong, no one will help.
