We used each condo for writing sessions, and the retreat was productive and enjoyable. Everyone in our group was happy, and there wasn’t a single complaint. The place is comfortable, well kept, and great for focused work, with a very helpful and responsive staff. It sits conveniently between lovely beaches, restaurants, and stores. This was our second research writing retreat at Number Uno Condos, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year. Leidy and her team were phenomenal.

The condos were remarkably clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable, with roomy interiors and well-equipped kitchens. We rented all four for a team onsite, working together from one and sleeping in the other three. Groceries are a short walk away, as are plenty of local places serving outstanding food, and beach access is close by. One issue was the smallest room over the alley. It had no A/C and got so hot it was basically an oven, so we kept it shut. Also, the two condo groups aren’t connected indoors. You can cross the hall between 1 and 2, or between 3 and 4, but to get from one group to the other you have to go outside, which would be rough in rainy season. They look like they might share walls or balconies, so larger groups planning to share the space should know that.

We had a lovely visit, and the hosts were quick to respond. The spacious Airbnb was beautiful and spotless. Restaurants, food shops, and the beach were all walkable, while museums and Old San Juan were a short Uber ride away.
