The hotel was meant to be the last stop on my Puerto Rico trip, with check-in on the 11th, my final day there. But on January 3rd, flights in Puerto Rico were canceled because of the conflict in Venezuela, so I couldn't reach the island at all. I contacted the hotel right away to explain and ask for a refund. The other hotels I had booked understood and refunded me without trouble. This one refused to cooperate and even questioned why I couldn't make it to Puerto Rico on the 11th. The lack of empathy over a crisis I couldn't control was shocking. Save yourself the money and stress, and book somewhere else.

Our room was tiny, though the place itself was clean and nice. There are good shared seating areas if you're with a small group, and restaurants and shops are conveniently close. Be ready to carry your suitcases up several steps. You also need a regular key, not a keycard, to get onto your floor and then into your room.

I arrived ready to check in, only to find that my reservation had been canceled at 2:03 PM, three minutes after the 2:00 check-in time. I had booked on January 19 and was looking forward to staying, but suddenly had nowhere to go. The host gave me neither a clear reason nor any help, leaving me stranded and stressed and ruining my plans for the day. Extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We had just arrived in San Juan and suddenly had nowhere to stay. At 10 am on 11/7, I got a message with the wifi password, then they canceled our reservation minutes before the 2 pm check-in. Carlos showed no regard for our time or for customers. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Horrible service and communication. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Please take your business somewhere else and beware. The reservation was under Francisco's name, in case they claim they couldn't find one under mine.
