Great location and a nice pool, but the building is old and needs attention. The outside balconies are in terrible shape, and the elevator had problems on three of the seven days.

We had an awesome view from the balcony, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants just a few blocks away. The building felt very secure, with access restricted at the lobby. It’s in a great spot, directly across from the Marriott Stallaris and only one block from Condado beach.

The 25th floor gives you a great view, though the elevator ride is long and you may have to wait. We even made a bit of a workout out of taking the stairs, and my legs were feeling it, haha. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were nice, though the jacuzzi wasn’t hot. There’s also an outdoor bathroom and shower, plus a lounge and office area if you need to work. Ashford is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, bars, and Old San Juan, where the party block is. The Ashford Imperial is a good Airbnb if you want to save money. Owner phelix was a great host and supplied lots of things to make our stay pleasant and fun. Our one-bedroom condo had a kitchen with pots, pans, silverware, cups, glasses, a fridge and freezer, plus soap, shampoo, and conditioner in case you left yours at home. There was a balcony with a table and chairs where you could watch the sunrise. If you want to save money, relax, party, or just have fun, this place is worth considering.

It’s so close to the beach, and we couldn’t hear our neighbors. The guarded entry and exit felt reassuring. Convenient and pleasant.
