Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar, Dorado

The restaurant was on point for breakfast and dinner, and you should try the fried cheese cake. It's just outside the busy cities, but everything is within a hour. We had an awesome time here. The staff were pleasant, the setting was great, and they put on daily events for days when you are out exploring. There's private beach access 24/7. Highly recommended, and we'll stay again next time we visit.

Fabian Alvarez made our trip especially memorable. A simple question we asked him turned into a generous conversation, with recommendations for local food spots, shopping areas, and places to explore around Puerto Rico. He shared stories and history about his home, and his love for Puerto Rico and his job really came through. Whenever we saw him, he greeted us warmly and made time to talk. His service, charisma, professionalism, and authentic kindness stood out. He creates lasting memories for guests, and became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Hyatt is fortunate to have him, and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves as a valuable asset to the company. From the drive up, the scenery was breathtaking. We were in awe when we opened our room door and saw the view. The hotel, location, and experience felt beyond perfect. The beach was beautiful, the atmosphere peaceful, and every staff member we met was accommodating and incredibly kind. Fabian went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar and our time in Puerto Rico.

The food at the beach bars was exceptional, though a little pricey. We would definitely stay here again!!!! They set out lounge chairs and umbrellas for us on the beach, and helped move tables around so our large group could play cards and hang out in the evenings. We could bring our own beer into the bar area, and we always ordered other drinks and snacks there too. There's a lot of remodeling going on, but they did a great job keeping the noise down. Some work was done overnight so we could use the spaces during the day. The location is great, the property feels very secure, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The restaurant food wasn't so great, and the drinks were decent. There are good options 15 mins away, so that wasn't a deal breaker. The resort, pool, and beach were awesome. Our rooms were clean and spacious, with great cookware. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus. Staff came to clean and restock every alternate day, which was perfect. For the price, it was completely worth it!
