Carmel Hotel

The hilltop setting gives lovely views across Ramallah and the surrounding area. Corner rooms have big panoramic windows, and the rooms are clean and spacious with standard decor. There are no balconies or outdoor seating areas. Breakfast has a good-sized buffet, the in-house restaurant serves tasty food, and there's a gym and an excellent spa. The staff are friendly and the service is great.

Our two months at Carmel hotel made our Ramallah vacation even better. We loved the food and service in the restaurant, and they arranged special oriental meals for my kids, which was a real bonus. Everyone we met on staff was attentive, professional, kind, and helpful, and the team made us feel at home. The location in the best neighborhood made it easy to get around. I'd say it's the best hotel in town for location and services, and I'd strongly recommend it.

The lunch was below standard, and there were flies in the hotel restaurant. The receptionist was unprofessional and behaved poorly. In the room, there were no towels or bathroom shoes, and the TV didn't work because the remote batteries were damaged. I called room service more than eight times, then waited six hours before they brought new towels.

The breakfast buffet could use improvement, though hopefully it'll get better once the hotel is fully operational. It's a brand new five-star hotel, with good rooms, a gym, a cafe, and nice decor. The staff are exceptional, friendly, and helpful. Best regards to Rose at the front desk.
